Facial Recognition — Hong Kong

Filmed on 1/15/19 | Aired 9/20/19

I used to live in Hong Kong, so it was treat to revisit it as an adult. I love the food and the ease of transportation. I wasn’t a fan of the facial recognition software the government was using to track its citizens, but hey, you can’t beat some HK xiao long bao. Tit for tat, I say.

Kudos to our amazing field team who cracked this story months before riots broke out!

I used the Canon 6D Mark II with the stock 24-105 f/4.
