About

I’m Jack, a writer-director-musican with the insatiable need to make people laugh.

In May 2018 I graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Critical Studies. They told me it’s technically a film degree. While there, I served as the Editor in Chief for USC’s satirical newspaper The Sack of Troy for 2 years.

As a junior in college, I began working on the WGA-nominated The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central. I was the assistant to the showrunner Scott Zabielski and host Jim Jefferies.

Late 2021, I co-founded a comedy country band named The Doohickeys. We earned an honorable mention for the American Songwriter May/June lyric contest for our song “All Hat, No Cattle” and an award for Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting for “This Town Sucks” in the 2023 Great American Song Contest. In October 2022, we got to take our songs to Nashville and open for Jim Jefferies at the Ryman Auditorium—the only time I’ve ever had pictures taken of me that I like. So this site will be full of them.

Currently, I’m working with Jim on his podcast I Don’t Know About That and also co-hosting The Unsolicited Podcast with Kelly Blackheart and Tommy Caprio.
