Happy Dying — Seoul, South Korea

Filmed on 1/11/19 | Aired 3/26/19

Suicide rates are incredibly high in Korea. To try to help the situation, “death cafes” have popped up around the country to allow folks to find a new found love for life by having a proper funeral with their loved ones present and then laying in a coffin for 20 minutes to an hour to understand what it’d be like to actually be dead.

I gave it a spin and laid in a coffin for 15 minutes. It sucked. Death’s a shit deal. Plus my coffin was too small, but I guess coffin-makers don’t take comfortability into consideration.

I used the Canon 6D Mark II with the stock 24-105 f/4.
